Montessori toys 2 year old

For Children 5 Years

Christmas Tree Triangle Puzzle.
This puzzle was made to be utilized by a group of people with different skill levels as it has three different sized pieces. I really like at Christmas to have a puzzle going on the table for everyone to contribute to and this puzzle would be perfect! It's 400 pieces.

Gift Ideas for the Montessori Kid - Christmas

When looking for Christmas gift ideas it is simple to think all the nice toys come from overseas. These present ideas don't include Montessori substances but they're suited to the Montessori kid and they are all made by Australian companies. I've really tried to include as many small businesses and handcrafted goods as possible while also highlighting some of our favourite Australian products! A number of these shops send overseas also.
Small backpacks perfect for independent Montessori kids by Bagbini (international transportation available).
Playdough and accessories at Joyful Hands Happy Heart (we adore this playdough, the texture and fragrances are unique).
Gentle skin care from Sukin.

Reindeer Costume at StitchandWillow (Etsy) (my five year old would love this!!).
Healthy Flash Cards (great for all sorts of learning) at Teepee Learning (international transport available). I also love these Pregnancy and Birth Affirmation Cards.
There are not a lot of Montessori substance makers in Australia but Wood Puzzles has a great selection of language stuff and Australian made wooden trays. I recommend the Magnetic Movable Alphabet as well as the depicted Alphabet Boards.
Child size, real, Tool Set and Horticulture Set with Gloves at Me2Me2.
The Joyful Architect and Alphabet Matching Pairs at The Freckled Frog.
Baby Morris board books at Little Kids Things.

DIY Coloured Beeswax Kit by Luxmi (this is the little kit for making birthday candles, would be wonderful for a younger kid, the larger coloured kit is recorded here).
Star Garland at KirraKai (Etsy), perfect child and environmentally friendly ornamentation.
And how cute is this soft Humpback Whale and these felt fruits and vegetables? I hope you enjoyed this little snippet of what Australian shops have to offer!

Labyrinth and Maze Toys for Kids!

I am convinced these are ideal for building attention, developing hand-eye coordination, and visual perception. They would even be interesting to make use of with family or friends.
Many of these would be well satisfied to a Montessori environment, gross motor area or toddler area!
I really like this quotation from MontessoriReStore. "The labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and also the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. It represents a journey to our own centre and back out again into the world . The simplicity engages the right side of the brain enabling instinct, creativity and vision to form a meditative activity to reconnect you with your centre. It is often found to improve wellness, express emotions and create a awareness of well being for centuries. Utilize a personal labyrinth to focus a child between jobs or just when the kid wants a moment of reflection."

Handheld Wooden Marble Labyrinths - FromJennier on Etsy

Magnetic Maze Racing Game - Lakeshore Learning

Junior Maze - Child.com.au (Australia)
Maze Balancing Board - Child.com.au (Australia)

Christmas Puzzles to Love - 2 to 5 Years

Here are a few of the most stunning and Montessori family friendly Christmas puzzles! It's about stacking, sorting, sequencing, patterns, and discovering sequence!
All of these puzzles would work wonderfully in a tray or on a young child's work shelves. I really adore the natural lumber puzzles. Do not forget about nesting dolls, they make fantastic decorations and children love to stack, sort and put them away. The age ranges are a guide only.

DIY Montessori Activities for a Two Year Old

Note: I got most of these notions either from Pinterest, or from the book Teach Me to Do It Myself: Montessori Activities for You and Your Child by Maja Pitamic (one of my all time favourite Montessori novels, and one I highly recommend if you’re interested in Montessori-at-home). And bonus: all of these tasks are very low-cost, or free — they generally use items you already have in your home. I don’t possess the money to invest in Montessori stuff that are fancy, so I do my best with what I have. Acquiring the Senses Sewing on an Embroidery Hoop I got this amazing notion from Childhood 101 and Filth Wizardy. Toilet Learning Trousers Along with shoes we also ordered these toilet learning trousers from Michael Olaf. Although as you are able to see they are bulky and absorb much just like a nappy Otis or I may even tell he was wet Otis continues to be wearing training pants for some time such as the reddish ones in this post. I used to be looking for trousers that were; Absorbent enough there's absolutely no pool but the kid feels wet Easy to see the child is wet Slimline, not in any way bulky Simple to get on and off, even for an extremely young child Generated from natural fibers Cozy These trousers are perfect for people. They've been made from organic cotton and so far no pools. Not even a wet bed. Although I do not by choice have him sleep in them. I generally shift him before bed, sometimes I do not get a chance. They are only worn by Otis when we are at home. I'm in a position to determine when he is wet and have worked out a tiny pattern, when he is in training slacks. O...
